It's time to acknowledge those members who
maintain their own websites and let the other members see what they've
done. Here are some exciting sites that are very accomplished
and interesting, too.
Phyllis
says, "My special thanks to Rawls and Mary Frazier [PCUGR Members] for
making long-distance publishing a reality. Rawls has been instrumental in
checking and updating the rides in Sonoma County and Mary forwards my mail
to me weekly wherever I happen to be."
Phyllis is currently the Editor of the PCUGR
Newsletter, "Redwood Chips." It's an honor and a pleasure to have
Phyllis' website as the newest addition to our Member's Website page.
Now
playing in the KIng's Chamber. Read the next installment
of Ben's A Well
Tempered Solar System. Ben's site investigates
Science, Art, and Metaphysics with emphasis on models from the ancient world's great works of Art.
The main attraction is
The Philosopher's Stone.
Ben expresses his insights in the architecture of ancient Egypt with both
the precision of a mathematician and the bold thinking of a
philosopher. You'll like the colors, too.
Jeff
has been member of the PCUGR for many years and has helped in as many
different capacities. Jeff's site is a little bit for
everyone. He remembers September 11th and has some fun with
different topics as well.
Steve
was PCUGR's first webmaster and continues to help and guide the club's
site. This is his own personal site that goes back to when Sonic
firstd it's doors.. Steve's site has wonderful links and
reflects his intense interest in personal computers.
In Steve's own words. "Exploring Cyberspace - Great Sites! | News - International, National, Local, and Internet Fun | Entertainment and Travel | Bookshelf - Internet search and reference tools | Software Guide - best freeware and shareware sources | Publish a Homepage - HTML author and Web developer information | Nerd Guide - user groups, e'zines (ezines) and more computer-related
topics."
Paraphrasing
from Ben's site: "Ben is a software engineer with more than two
decades of experience including both application design and development.
Ben also is a professional author who has published more than two dozen
books on computers and computer-programming - not including translations
into other languages. His special experience includes extensive
development in graphics, optical and electronic imaging systems as well as
the design and development of numerous GUI interface systems with an
emphasis on human-factor engineering. Let's
go see his site!
An Interesting Note, It
was this site that generated the lead to my current contract
at Bank of America. I was impressed. 3 agencies called
me regarding the contract. Each had found my resume through a
search engine when looking for "Shaw Systems."
